Amaretto Cranberry Kiss Cocktail is a wonderful winter beverage to share during the cooler months.  Smooth and not too sweet cocktail for any special gathering.

If you like Cosmopolitans then you’ll want to make this delicious festive cocktail for your holiday gatherings.

The slight tang from the cranberry juice in this Amaretto Cranberry Kiss cocktail quickly transforms to a smooth cocktail when paired with a splash of Amaretto and Vodka.

October and November are my favorite months of the year, even more than the summer months. Probably because I look forward to cooking for our Thanksgiving get together, a chillaxing day of eating and drinking!

There is no mad rush to buy and wrap presents for the gathering, although I do bring something to the host if we’re traveling for the holiday (see photo of flowers).

I’m never quite ready for the December whirlwind of activities to take flight, so the last few days of November were spent savoring the quiet moments and reflecting on all the things that I’m grateful for.

My list is long, and I could write a manuscript, but that would bore you, and you really came to this page to learn about this Cranberry Amaretto Kiss, am I right? Soooo, I’ll spare you the fine points and share just one thought; I really love that I have a grown up little girl (23, going on 24 years)!

It’s true, my daughter is quite amazing, and that’s all I’ll share since I just promised not to turn this post into a novel, plus I’m equally as proud of my son that I could boast about as well.

My daughter lives 10 minutes from us, and over the age of 21 (the legal drinking age), which means we can order cocktails together!

We’ve had a few years of practice; wine tasting, beer sampling. It seems like such a grown-up activity, and every so often I’m taken aback by the whole concept of having an alcoholic drink with my daughter.

I can give her a ring on our days off from work and say, “Hey, I want to try a new drink, come over and sample it with me!”

This is exactly what we did as I put away groceries, and organized our dessert menu for our Thanksgiving feast. We sipped a delicious Cranberry Amaretto Kiss! What a perfect end to a beautiful month.

The recipe makes up to 8 servings, which can be mixed ahead of time and served when the mood suits you.

This cocktail has a winter-y vibe, so if your daughter isn’t old enough to partake in this type of potion, serve this amaretto cranberry kiss cocktail during the ornament exchange party or ugly Christmas sweater gathering. Cheers!
