Hello spring sunshine! We have been anxiously waiting for your arrival. Thank goodness the weather is warming up, which gives a glimpse towards the summer months!

What does your summer look like? Are you spending more family time together?

For us, we try to spend a lot of time outdoors, which includes beach time, hiking, visiting our farmers market, eating on our patio, and cooking light and delicious meals like this BUBBA Veggie Burger bowl meal.

What Is A Burger Bowl?

A burger bowl is a personalized meal the same ingredients you would enjoy on a hamburger sans the bun.

We like to assemble our bowls like we would stuff a taco or burrito. Everyone adds their favorite toppings. My bowl always has slices of avocados and Alan loves grilled onions.

BUBBA Veggie Burger

We often have a box of Original BUBBA Veggie in our freezer just for the times we want a quick no-fuss meal.

At a moments notice we are able to take a burger straight from the freezer to a grill or skillet. Perfect for busy households like ours!

However, we have a pretty refined palate, so if the burger doesn’t taste delicious, then it’s not going on our menu.

BUBBA Veggie Burgers are made with flavorful spices, without artificial flavors or GMO’s, are gluten-free, low fat, and vegan friendly.

Simply delicious tasting too, which is why I was anxious to try the Latin Grill Veggie, a new variety of BUBBA Foods.

The Latin Grill Veggie has a zesty and sweet flavor from the black beans, chunks of plantains and sweet potatoes, lime, cilantro and ancient grains. Is your mouth watering yet?

How To Make A Burger Bowl

First, pan fry or grill the BUBBA Veggie Burgers. All you need to do is remove the burgers from the package and place them on a lightly greased grill or skillet on medium-high heat. Cook for 5-7 minutes, then flip and cook the other side for an additional 5-7 minutes.

Next, Add about 2 cups of lettuce to each bowl and top with any of the following ingredients;

  • Avocado slices
  • Grilled onions
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Sliced peppers
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Sliced cucumbers
  • Radish slices
  • Pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
Fork full of salad

Easy and Healthy

Each Latin Grill Veggie BUBBA Burger is only 130 calories with 5 grams of fiber. Quite filling!

All the veggies in the burger are natural carbohydrates netting 16 grams. Paired with some healthy fats like avocado and cilantro dressing gives you a balanced meal.

If you are sensitive to gluten, then you will be glad to know that these burgers are gluten-free! No wheat, barley or rye are in the ingredients.

Finally, these burgers cook up in 14 minutes!

How’s that for a simple and delicious meal?

Give this BUBBA Veggie Burger bowl and try and let me know what some of your favorite toppings are. Next time we will melt a slice of cheese right on the burger!
