This easy lemon posset recipe is perfect for when you need a quick and simple dessert. With just three ingredients, it’s fuss-free and delicious.

This modern posset recipe is a twist on the classic dessert and a delicious way to end a heavy meal.


- Heavy cream - Granulated sugar - Lemon zest - Lemon juice


In a medium size saucepan add the heavy cream, sugar and lemon zest. Combine ingredients and over medium heat bring to a boil.

Continue to cook for about 10 minutes or until the mix is reduced to 2 cups. Keep a close eye to make sure the mix does boil over.

Reduce the heat slightly if it gets too hot. Remove from heat and add lemon juice. Stir to combine and let come to room temperature for 20 minutes.
