Can Cranberry White Chocolate Cookies Be Make Without Nuts?

These cookies can easily be adapted for a nut free treat, but I highly recommend baking the cookies as written.

The soft textures from the macadamia nuts really make this cookie special.

I found a terrific sale on macadamia nuts several months ago, so keep an eye out for those deals.

A full pound for six bucks, which is a steal, so naturally I snagged a couple of bags!

I promptly stuffed by bargain into the freezer, and then just as quickly forgot about them until now!

What Do Macadamia Nuts Taste Like?

Macadamias are rich and buttery tasting. They are one of the sweeter nuts and taste just as good in baked goods as other popular nuts like pecans or walnuts!

I like to eat macadamia nuts plain and eat them for a snack. They’re full of delicious good for your fats.

Paired in a baked good like breads and cookies tastes amazing!

How Long Can You Keep Nuts In The Freezer?

As long as the nuts are properly stored in air tight freezer containers or bags nuts will stay fresh for at least a year.

Before adding stored nuts to any recipe be sure to eat one to make sure they are not rancid and still taste delicious.

Can White Chocolate Chips Be Used In Place of White Chocolate Chunks?

Yes! If you prefer or have on hand white chocolate chips the same amount can be used (8 ounces) in place of a bar.

For any baked good, make sure to use quality ingredients. White chocolate should contain cocoa butter. Be sure to look at the ingredient list!

Can Cranberry White Chocolate Cookies Be Frozen?

You can easily freeze the batter up to three months.

Bake up a dozen fresh baked cookies to enjoy with a big glass of milk or cup of hot of tea anytime!

In addition, these cookies can be baked before putting in an air tight freezable container. Again, these are best if consumed within three months of being in the freezer.

This recipe yields 4-5 dozen cookies, so they’re perfect to bake for a holiday cookie exchange, but don’t limit these to just once a year!
