This flavorful liquor is easy to make, and fresher than the store bought version!

Splurge a little and enjoy this liquor on its own, add it to coffee like you would a creamer or use it in a cocktail like this Bailey’s Irish Martini.

Easy Recipe For Irish Cream

Don’t limit this liquor to beverages though! This can also be added to baked goods for a luxurious flavor!

How To Make Homemade Irish Cream

This is seriously the easiest recipe and once you gather the ingredients you’ll never want to buy Irish cream pre-made again!

Ingredients:

  • Heavy cream
  • Sweetened condensed milk
  • Irish whiskey
  • Instant coffee granules
  • Vanilla extract
  • Almond extract
  • Unsweetened cocoa

Simple blend the ingredients together then put in a cute jar! These make fun gifts during the holiday season too.

How Long Will Irish Cream Keep?

A batch of this liquor will keep fresh as long as the heavy cream’s expiration date.

I have found that it will stay fresh for 2-3 weeks.

What Does Irish Cream Taste Like?

The first flavor is a sweet and nutty flavor with warm notes of cocoa. A hint of the whiskey sneaks through adding a warming and delicious combination!

  1. Hi I was wondering about substituting skrewball peanut butter? What do you think? What would you change if anything? I love irish cream but was thinking of doing something different 🙂

    1. Hi Tammy! I bet it will taste delicious. If you like the Skrewball peanut butter, I say go for it! BTW, I recently tried that whiskey in a White Russian. Holy deliciousness!
